In July I had an opportunity to go on a fishing trip with my grandfather in Alaska near Gustavus. To travel there I caught a flight from Portland, to Seattle, to Juneau, followed by a short charter flight to Gustavus. My grandfather enjoys making a trip up to Alaska once every year or so, primarily to catch fish to bring home to eat later. We spent a few days our on a charter boat alongside a family from Wyoming and caught our fair share of Halibut.
